Our SummerCamp is for those that want a holiday that blends the fun and adventure of outdoor activities with inspiring and stimulating discussions on ways to live more in-tune with nature and others.
The adventure camp is designed for environmentally aware people under the age of 35 - students and professionals - who love exploring rich cultures and going on outdoor adventures, but who are bored with predictable tourist holidays.

Active Earth

The camp is built upon the idea of a community of exchange and exploration, mutual respect and tolerance. Meet like-minded people from all over Europe in a beautiful, wild

environment and spent time in a meaningful, relaxed way.
We offer more than an escapist retreat. Our camp allows you to refresh your mind and revitalise your body. This promotes deep ecological awareness and provides a platform for action in present and future challenges. Many international friendships and connections are made, potentially opening up many different life paths.

Professional guides take you out into beautiful canyons, up impressive rock faces and along sandy beaches. They share their knowledge and expertise, providing you with the opportunity to engage through a proactive, experiential approach.

Our workshops explore the hidden connections between different fields of knowledge. We discuss wide-ranging topics from economics to ecology and philosophy, providing clarity to the many confusing issues of our highly complex and interactive world.

The advantage of our approach is its flexibility; we invite you to sculpt the week to include your own preferences with regards to the activities and discussions. Any aspect of

participation is always optional and your well-being is of utmost importance. Here is an example of the week’s core framework.

SCHEDULE EXAMPLE
Day 1 is about familiarising with each other and the valley. We slow down to nature’s pace, as we explore dry canyons sculptured over millions of years. Reaching flowing water, we cool off in crystal clear pools. Lunch on the sunny river bank prepares us for an adventurous climb. The summit grants us wide views of Pyrenean peaks and Mediterranean coves. Our first evening is spent socialising in a local bar in the traditional town of Tortellà.

Day 2 engages our bodies with rock climbing on Sant Aniol’s beautiful limestone cliffs. Exploring different crags, we rest and re-energise amongst the local experts - mountain goats. The second evening fuses live music from our talented musician and guide Jed Milroy with inspiring readings from the EasyDay team in the Tipi.

Day 3 starts early as we trek into the impressive Sant Aniol canyon. Jumping, sliding and abseiling through cascading plumes of water, challenges our entire range of emotions. We become aware of our rollercoaster journey through this incredible natural environment. This day is about looking beyond our immediate feelings, understanding the interplay of body, mind and environment in their emergence.

Day 4 is a complete chill-out day after the exhilaration of canyoning. We take you to the warm waters of the Mediterranean’s Cap de Creus coast. Thousands of colourful fish go about their lives among clear waters and coral reefs, to be discovered snorkelling. We soak up the warmth of the Spanish sun and relax under olive trees in this beautiful Nature Reserve.

Returning to the mountains, from sunset to sunrise, we spend time on ‘solo’, amongst nature away from the camp, under the starlit sky. This evening of rest creates the space for reflection – a luxury we definitely want to give.

Day 5 - After coffee and breakfast watching the sunrise, we spend the morning bringing meaning to the holiday as a whole through a structured review session. The return to camp follows the natural path of the river, guided by its smooth features carved into the rock over millennia - a fitting end to an incredible holiday.

We conclude the holiday together with a traditional Spanish meal followed by a colourful fiesta of live music in Tortellà.

Our camps have a very special feel to them. We take great care in choosing a site that is removed from roads and villages. Getting closer to nature, we take a breather from the rush of

modern everyday living in an urban world.

Our traditional native-American tipis provide comfortable, luxurious space. Much time is spent in here during meals, theory or review sessions and at night with stories and music. Close to the ground, huddled around a fire-place, the tipi is the perfect place to relax and sense the elements as they stir outside.

“Today, more than ever before, life must be characterised by a sense of Universal responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life.

With realisation of one's own potential, and self-confidence in one's ability, one can build a better world.”
Dalai Lama
