Jed Milroy
Jed became an outdoor guide, because he wanted to share his love for swift water and steep rocks. His interest in ideas and meaning led him to study philosophy at the University of Edinburgh. He also followed courses on outdoor and environmental education. His approach to adventure education now combines the analytics of philosophy with social anthropology. Jed believes there is an urgent need for a new strategy concerning the way we live and think on almost every level.
As an accomplished musician, Jed has been part of international rock act 'The Aliens' amongst many other musical projects including 'Emotional Literacy' work in primary schools, and the infamous Glastonbury Music Festival.
